growth on hair between scrotum and thigh

For about ten years I have had a growth on the hairs between my scrotum and thighs. I went to the doctor who said it was a fungus, and he prescribed something which i reasearched and decided not take because people said the fungus will just come back until you treat the underlying cause. I have done some cleansing etc to clear fungus from my intestines etc, but to no avail.

Does anyone have experience with anything like this? I did find a chinese herbal resin formula that works to clear it up, but again its only temporary and I have to reapply it every month or so. It's called Resinal K and is made by the Health Concerns Company, a chinese herbal producer.

A naturopath suggested it may not be a fungus, but I forget what she said it could be. And she had no luck with it either.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
