growth underneath scrotum

growth underneath scrotum

I scratched my right scrotum really hard and over the past few days there is a growth underneath the skin under my right ball and its sore to the touch. the growth is like a marble. there is a little white thing where i obviously scratched to hard. Could you tell me what the ball like growth underneath my right scrotum could be. the piece of skin that seperates my balls is firm and sore as well. Could i have irrated a hair follicle which is causing this growth..i have an appointment with a dermatologist in the next few days, but would like to hear your opinion.

You probably set up an irritation reaction when you scratched.  I advise you to keep the skin moist, and that you leave the lump alone.  If you do, the body should reabsorb it in a couple of weeks.  The sudden onset and soreness suggest irritation, not anything infectious or otherwise serious.  If the pain is bothersome, or if the lump enlarges, see a doctor, though I doubt you'll need to.

Best.

I have had many growths on my scrotum over my life-time (they come and go).  I was told that it is a dermatological problem and that if they grew too large or got too sore, I should have them lanced.  To be quite honest, I usually just popped them.  The other day, I noticed a new growth, that is not on the suface, but is residing inside, the size of which is approxximately 3/4 of the size of one of my testicles.  Well, when I push on the "lump" itself, puss and some blood does exit (like so many times before), but unlike before, it will not "break-up" and exit.  Is it possible that the oily deposits that I have encountred in the past (as they have been described to me)have solidified themselves under the skin or am I dealing with another thing entirely?
