hair aggressively pulled

Hello,

Two days ago my younger cousin pulled a large chunk of my hair very violently.  I didn't think much of it until I realized that 2 days later, the back of my head was still sore where he pulled.  No chunks of hair came out with the pulling.  I was wondering if there could be permanent damage to the scalp or the hair follicle from this episode- I assume not, since the hair remained intact; however, I have never had my hair pulled quite so violently before!  Thanks.

Nope.  If we could remove hair completely by pulling, we wouldn't needs lasers or electrolysis.  Plus, half the world pluck and tweezes and waxes continually, but the hair keeps coming back, and so will yours.

I'd steer clear of that cousin, though, at least if you're not wearing a helmet!
