Hi,
I am a college student,21 years old.2 yrs before i started to exprience acute dandruff problem and thinning of hair.i seeked the opinions of many dermatologists but it was of no help.My scalp is very much oily and itchy.the itchiness disappear only on the day i shampoo.i have tried two medicate shampoos selenium sulphide solution and ketaconazole solution.the dandruff seems to have gone but thinning of hair and hair loss is still affecting me.i haven'e used oil in my scalp for an year as suggested by the physician.as i am a hosteller it would be difficult gor me to follow a complex hair care routine.please suggest how to avoid thinning and hair loss.also please tell how many times do i need to shampoo a week, whether to apply oil or not,if yes then when and what diet to follow.also please tell me fow to dry hair after a wash and how to comb for proper bird circulation.what will be the constituents of the hair oil and shampoo?my problem is not genetic.i masturbate once in a day,is it related?

It sounds like you might be hitting the balding stage of your life.  It happens to lots of guys in college.  Many of my friends had this same problem you are having.  They didn't have a dandruff problem that wasn't treated with a few uses of T-Gel.  They finally realized that they were hitting wonderful life of baldness.  Hope there isn't a correlation to what you are using and your hair loss, but I would bet that treating the dandruff won't cause your hair to fall out any more.  Try using another brand of shampoo and see if you still get the hair loss in the same amount.
