hand sanitizer/mouthwash on genitals

A week ago I made the stupid mistake of having drunken unprotected oral sex with a stranger... but even stupider, after the encounter, I put hand sanitizer on my penis because I was so paranoid about catching a disease. A few days later my penis and scrotum are raw, and burning. Is there some kind of treatment I should be using to help replenish the skin? Is there risk of permanent damage?

What you have had is irritant contact dermatitis after applying the sanitizer on the gentle penis skin. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Wash your penis with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat it dry. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and see if this improves. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid or consult a dermatologist.

How long does it takes to cure the infection or fungus which cause due to the hand sanatizer on penis.i also did the same thing but my doc gave me lotrimin (clotrimozol) to reduce the yeast on the penis.... can you please suggest me it got burned and itchy 2nd day and since I started using the cream I don’t have itching but.... I had frequent urination and very little red spots on the forskin.
