hard bump that does not hurt

I have a hard bump near my vagina.  it started were i had knicked myelf shaving.  now it is about 3 quarters of an inch long and half and inch wide.  it does not hurt.  and has vein like things comeing off of it.  I only notice it when i touch it.  it has risin a bit above the skin and is light red more pink.  std is not likely.  I have been with the same partner for 6 months and he has not trouble.  Any idea?

Hi,

It appears that you may have developed a hematoma at the site.

Usually when an injury occurs, the body pools in blood at the site to prepare for repair and defense.

However as the repair starts the pooled blood gradually gets absorbed. In your case it appears that the swelling has not decreased even after absorption of the blood. This may have lead to the development of the swelling which contains fibrous tissue.

I think you should absorb it for around 4-8 weeks before going to a doctor. Please look out for any symptoms whatsoever, which you may believe might be related to this condition.
