help again...

one of the warts on my inner thigh has gotten hard. (theres 3) is that bad? i've been using that silver sulfadiazine cream still. i dont have an appointment with a dermatologist untill the 20th of this month.

im really stressed out and having anxiety problems. my family calms me down and tells me im fine, but when i go to work i cant keep my mind off of it.

what if warts have pus in them? does that mean its an std?

its not herpes is it? im just really lost and scared.

whats my chances of them just being warts?

what does pinkish/purpleish warts mean?

i mean i know all warts come from HPV and there are different types, but how many people have had them on their inner thigh just because of moisture and not being from sexual contact?

i read that warts on the inner thigh can be genital warts, but if my doctor thought that was what it was, wouldn't he have told me and got me to a dermatologist sooner?

the nurse said, "its nothing cancerous." and the doctor said "you have warts, but you have nothing to worry about."

but i do worry because of what i read. and when i panic i begin to look for problems on myself. its like i make stuff appear that isn't really there an hour later. i guess its just mind over matter...

Obviously, it will take a visit in person to answer all your questions.  However, I will say this:
1.  Warts are not common on the inner thigh.
2.  Warts don't have pus in them.  Blocked follicles do, and these are common on the inner thigh.
3. Nothing you describe sounds like herpes or some other STD.

before you drive yourself crazy, just relax and see the dermatologist.  Even if these are warts, they aren't the end of the world, and can be easily treated.  And maybe you should skip the internet research, since what you're reading is just making you anxious.

Take care.
