help me,please

So i have not a mild acne or neither a severe one.But I've been washing my face with Panoxyl and when I would get out of the shower my face seemed swollen and I started to get red spots all over my face. It was in my forhead,cheeks,upper lip, nose and chin. I have been having this problem about 3 weeks ago. I've gone to a dermatologist and he told me that i had a allergic reaction from one of the ingridients of Panoxyl.He suscribed me Cloderm cream 0.1%. And I was wondering if this will help get rid of the redness and how long will it take?
