I have this problem,it started over a year ago,i had a red spot on my scrotum it was itchy, while sleeping
i itch it.Thought it was jock itch, so i brought some spray and apply it,it remained the same, at this same time my girlfriend had fungus on her toe and was using her cream called Loprox, i also used this and it worked just fine.

8 mo later the same systomps came back, this time the itching was so strong that it woke me in the middle of the night.I
tryed sprays, powders ect..and no luck. The skin on my testicals was raw looking,i must of sratch so much that it became a open
wound.
It also was warm at times and irritate.. A month later it stated to get better, then it started back up a agin...So i went to see a Doctor he said that it looked raw but seened nothing major he percribed, desonide cream .05% and ZEASORB-AF. I uesd it for a few weeks and 95% of the itch went a way, but the area still felt irritant and warm at times, so i made a appt to see
the doc again.
The day before i went to the doctor i notice that my arms, shoulders and back felt warm like a sunburn wich really freak me out, and i also had a rug-burn feeling under my arms.. so the nex day i went to the Doctor and he percribed me Ketoconazole 200 mg for 7 days, clarinex because he said that i have some allergies and a anthistamine would help, also more desonide cream.
During that week,I notice that this red rash (sunburn felling)was really intense for a few days,
Then it started to get better , not as warm, and the size was geeting smaller, it started on my back chest and arms then a
week later its alot smallier and mainly on my back and neck, this odd feeling under my arms (rug burn felling)comes and goes not as intense but still there.during this time i took my temperature 2 to 3 x a day and it was normal.

Worried becaues this rash comes and goes and i just want it to go away, stress out,i called my DR to get some answers and he made me a appointment to see a dermatolgist, the earliest
2 weeks from now!

My systomps now are, little burning in my testicle(using cream)neck warm(sun burn felling) dry skin
on my legs,(itchy ) weird feeling under arms(rug burn felling) still there not as intense or as long as before, weid feeling in the back of my head like pressure(mabe stress or allergy?) body itch (NOT IN GROIN) All of the conditions comes and goes!

My ? are
1. Is this a serious condition, and have you ever heard of this?
2.Do you think this is a allergry or skin infection or both?
3.with my conditionds do you think 2 week away is too long to see a dermatolgist?
4.Can this be a staph infection or NHL OR something major!
5.The one thing that was consistant before this occured (both times)groin area smelled then then the itch started.
Can males get a yeast infection?
Thank you!

Males can get a yeast infection, but what you have doesn't sound like one.  In fact, what you have doesn't sounds like anything serious, infectious, or sexual.  It's probably just irritation in the groin, and the rest of the symptoms are either something altogether different and unrelated, or else they're from worrying about what's going on.  I think 2 weeks to see the dermatologist is fine.  I think you will get good and reassuring news.  Please do your best to stop worrying till then, because I don't think your symptoms add up to anything serious to worry about.

Take care.
