This happend About 3 months ago, the day after my penisCancer - penis Curvature of the penis Penis care (uncircumcised) Penis pain was fine. The 3rd day i woke up and had purpley spots around the bottom of the penis i tryed to rub this off and had a quick bath but nothing happend, I told a friend about my problem and he said it could be thursh so i went to the shops and got some thrush cream which did'nt do anything. since then it has been rather red, looks just like a alergic (allergic) reaction but is there 247 all over the head of the penis, somtimes looking rather horrible and red when somtimes looking just a little red.
I've noticed when my penis is fully ereck it somtimes will look a bit bubbly all over, rather bumpy where it used to be very smooth. ive never used soap to wash only warm water.
I then went to a sex clinic and they gave me some canesten Hydrocortisone cream. This cream will only stop it itching a little bit but dose not take away the external look of the penis. i have no problems peeing or passing seimen
i have not had sex since as im to worryed i may pass something over and i am really worryed about this problem as i do not want it hanging around.
Hi,
This is an inflammation of the glans, called balanitis.Lack of aeration and irritation because of smegma and discharge surrounding the glans penis causes inflammation and edema.Smegma is a combination of exfoliated (shed) epithelial cells, transudated skin oils, and moisture, and can accumulate under the foreskin of males .
Inflammation has many possible causes, including irritation by environmental substances, physical trauma, and infection by a wide variety of pathogens, including bacteria, virus, or fungus—each of which require a particular treatment.
In your case it could be the trauma caused by the penetration since it was your first experience or a fungal infectio which is very common.
It results from an overgrowth of organisms (typically yeast or fungi) which are normally present on the skin of the glans. T he condition most commonly becomes problematic in men who have a foreskin (i.e. have not been circumcised). The environment under the foreskin is warm and moist, and these conditions often favour the growth of the organisms that cause balanitis.
Clotrimazole (Lotrimin, Mycelex, Femizole-7, Gyne-Lotrimin) can gently be massaged into affected area and surrounding skin areas, twice daily for a week.
