herpes, allergic reaction or ingrown hair?

About less than a week ago I had a breakout around the area above my upper lip.
It looks like a pimple (white tip). It hurts and I have a burning sensation around that area.
I don't know if the very slight sore throat has to do anything with it, but I have a minor one.

The first picture was taken a day prior to the second one.

I heard that herpes leaves a yellow crust after the fluid drains.

My crust is completely white, could this be herpes????

I'm wondering if it could be anything else, such as an allergic reaction or ingrown hair.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be infected hair follicle. Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
