herpes cold sore or pimple

a few days i felt a bump starting to form in the corner bottom of my bottom lip.  It was ahrd and i new somthing was coming up soon.  i tried popping it anyways ( i know i shouldnt) and i just made it a bit sore.  The next day the bump appeared and it was farely big.  It appeared to be one big one and the whole thing was preety much white at this point.  I popped it and all the white "pus" came out.  It now feels like a bit rough and appears to have a sab like appearance to it. It also looks like theres a crack in it which im hoping is from opening and closing my mouth.  The scab like appearance has been there for 2 days now and it hurts a little when i open my mouth.

1. Does this sound like herpes cold sore?
2. Do pimples have a a ton of white puss like that?
3. Can you get a pimple in the corner of your mouth or is that indication of cold sores?
4. Can you get a big crusty like scab like this after poping a pimple?

This could be cold dosres or pimples. Pimples usually have little pus in them. Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus, and they're contagious. Signs and symptoms of cold sores include:
-Small, painful, fluid-filled blisters on a raised, red, painful area of your skin
-Pain or tingling, called the prodrome, often precedes the blisters by one to two days
-Usual duration of seven to 10 days

Cold sores usually appear on your lips. Occasionally, they occur on your nostrils, chin or fingers.

Cold sores generally clear up without treatment in seven to 10 days. If you experience frequent bouts, your doctor may prescribe an antiviral medication to treat cold sores.

Pooping a pimple can cause scab formation.

thanks for the help.  Do herpes typically have a large white head looking thing or is that usually a sign of a pimple?  It wasnt a tiny head as most of the bump was white.  Once i popped it all of the white was gone.  The scab has been there for almost 3 days now.  I felt the pimple on thursday, popped it early saturday and had the scab since late saturday.  thanks again for the help
