herpes on lips

by Marissa704, Nov 11, 2008 09:13AM
I dated a guy tht got cold sores and kissed him when he had no active cold sores. However, after kising him one day a few days later he had an outbreak. A month later i started to get an intense burning sensation from under my nose to right above my lip. I was chewing on my bottom lip and a small red irritation surfaced. Four months after our kiss I still have a daily intense burning sensation in the same spot from under my nose to the liner of my lips. Sometimes the sensation travels throughout my face but overall the same nose mouth spot. I've had small red bumps appear on the middle liner of my lips and after putting antibacterial on them they are usually gone withing 3 days. First on the left upper part of my lip then on the right upper part of my lip.
