herpes or another skin condition

herpes or another skin condition

I was in a relationship with a girl from august to december last year and had unprotected sex several times. The first time was in august. She told me she was clean because she got tested for birth control. A friend told me that they dont check for herpes or other untreatable diseases when they do that screening. Is that true? Do screenings for birth control only check for treatable stds? Starting in about february i started noticing a smell coming from my genitals. Also the underside of my penis was very sticky. I thought that it could possibly be herpes but i thought the more logical thing would be just some kind of infection of the sweat glands or something like that since there were no bumps or warts or anything. But then about a week or so ago i noticed little flesh colored bumps on the base of penis that are barely even noticable. They arent in clusters and dont resemble a coliflower. When I stretch the skin you can see the bumps more clearly and bumps that werent even visible at all appear all over the bottom of my penis. They do not itch, they dont seem to be like blisters but they did just appear recently so i guess they could still be in like a beginning stage or something. My only symptoms are a slight smell, sticky skin and white bumps under penis. Does this sound like herpes?
