on a side note, there is no pain just some slight itching i assume is from shaving since when i am jsut lounging around the house in sweats and boxers it doesnt itch, but when i put on a snug pair of jeans(i wear daily) it tends to flair up.....and i havent had a sexual encounter in almost 5 months. which is also pushing me towards an over reaction to razor burn. another thing to mention is i have very sensative skin as it is. so i am assuming i just aggravated it and this is just the reaction.
hey bro i have had an ingrown hair around the pupic hair area and it was caused by shaveing one way u cant tell if its an ingrown hair usually with some tweezers you can pull the ingrown hair out it will look kinda curly and black then it will pus and bleed out it should be gone in less than a week if not id say go to a clinic .
Hello,
The symptoms are suggestive of folliculitis. Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing and if you have any additional queries.
