Recently I've been freaking out that I might have herpes around my anus (which given events 2 months ago is possible) but without any real evidence. Anal symptoms like itching, sharp pain during bowel movements are pretty much the same for all anal problems.
Anyway, if it is herpes, I thought that I might have infected my fingers while trying to inspect it, and am concerned that I might be affecting other areas. Lately, I have been having parts of my forearms and hands itch mildly. Sometimes a the area (sometimes strip-like and usually between 1/2"-1") will turn red then go away more than twice in a day. Nothing crazy, but enough to make me paranoid about spreading a rash to other parts of my body. I've never really paid attention to my skin in the winter so I don't know if this is just winter itch or something more. Also, does stress have anything to do with eczema? I've been stressing about various things for the past weeks.
I just want to know what people with mild eczema, psoriasis, or winter itch go through something similar. I know I'll probably get some recommendations to see my doctor. I know I need to, but I'm in college in a different city, so I'm going to see my doctor when I get back for spring break...or if something develops our of my control.
