how serious is it

I got a pimple on my left ear canal, on sunday the 2 August and it was hard and sore,and it is blocked, it was like that until tuesday.
On tuesday night, i felt it burst and it was blocked,is it because the liquid is blocking my ear?
And the liquid stopped comming out and on wednesday night it, burst again but i managed to get it out, There is still a small bump in my ear and my ear is still blocked, i havent been to the doctor. I went to a chemist and the pharmacist prescribed Similsan earwax relief, i used it but my ear is still blocked. Was it the good thing that i did by using the drops that the pharmacist prescribed?
And how serious can it get?
I am afraid,because my ear is still blocked and there is a ringing sound in my ear.
Should i have gone straight to the doctor immediately when i saw that pimple?
And how long before my ear unblocks?

Hello,
I would suggest you to get an evaluation done from an ENT specialist as if it is debris,then it has to be removed by an ENT specialist.Also course of antibiotics may be needed.
