how to treat newly raw skin???

I had microdermabrasion done today for the second time along with a chemical peel..she used a stronger chemical peel than my first time so my skin was much more sensitive for the microdermabrasion.. Nonetheless, due to the microdermabrasion there are small areas of my skin now that look completely raw-
Last time I had this same procedure done my skin was a little dry, but not raw. I'm slightly concerned because I have prom this saturday and I have absolutely no idea how to treat raw skin! I have 3 days...help pleaseee =]]

How do I treat raw skin on an elbow that peeled.  My husband has bursitis in his elbow, had a steorid shot in it, it turned real red and now has peeled and he has some raw skin that really hurts.  What can I do for it?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it sounds like irritant contact dermatitis. Irritant dermatitis, the most common type of contact dermatitis, involves inflammation resulting from contact with acids, alkaline materials such as soaps and detergents, cosmetics, or other chemicals.

Avoid using any lotions and creams over the face for the meantime. Wash your face with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat your face dry. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and see if this improves. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort.

If the irritation persists then pls get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Warm regards.
