hsv1 exposure?

by oneguylookingforadvice, Mar 20, 2007 12:00AM
last friday i was at a strip club in las vegas. one of the strippers there rubbed her boobs in my face, kissed my cheek, kissed my forehead and kissed me on my lips twice (moreso pecks -- not deep kissing or frenching). the stripper had no visible sores.

i am hsv 1 & hsv 2 negative -- took a western blot back in october 2006.

following questions:

1. what is my risk of acquiring hsv 1 from the exposure described above?

2. if at risk for hsv 1 and given i am hsv 1 negative or was, would i expect a noticable primary outbreak and symptoms in 2-20 days? and, if i dont see symptoms in that timeframe, am i in the clear?

3. could i be at risk for something else?

4. should i refrain from any physical contact with my wife and children until i am past the 20 day period?

5. should i be concerned about rubbing my hand on her breast or torso?

thanks and apologize if these questions above are stupid.

1.  If she had no visible cold sore--slim to none.
2. Yes, you would be in the clear.
3. Not that I can think of.
4. No.
5. No, no need for concern.

No apologies needed.

Take care.
