OK, so i get bumps on the inside of my thighs, which I know are ingrown hairs.  There is nothing I can to to get rid of them. How would you insist that I treat this problem.  And also I have a really pale skin and i'm only 17 years old, and i have what looks like rosecea on my face but it's not.  My right cheek on my face gets a lot more red than the other and I have to use a heavy consealer to hide it.  Is there anything for that? and Last i have these bumps on the back of my arms too.  They are not in grown hairs they are kinda like dry skin and they are bumps and if you look at it from a distance the back of my arms just look like there really red. Any suggestions on helping me with all of my problems.
Thanks

I too have been plagued with the red bumps on my thighs after I shave from irritated hair folicles.  I now have it under control and this is what I did.  I took Baby formula water. Its special water in gallon jugs that you can use to mix up baby formula  about a couple bucks or you can boil your own, it's just easier for mixing up a new batch with the bottled water.  Well you take a quart of the water, a couple teaspoons of your favorite oil (lavender, apricot or what ever, try Burts Bees at target) and then you use several drops of Tea Tree oil.  Place this in a small spray bottle.  Put this in your shower and shake before using to remix the oils that have seperated. After you dry off, spray the area and let it dry as you continue to get ready. I usually put on my robe while it drys.  You will notice in a couple weeks a difference and in a month a huge difference.  The oil, I use apricot, will soften your toosh and thighs and the Tea Tree Oil is a anti fungal, antiseptic and will keep the irritation and infection at bay.  If you have a big bump just dab on some tea tree oil a couple times a day.  This formula is used in making home remedy baby diaper wipes, I figured if it worked for babies how about me and it has and my toosh and legs look better that they have in years.  Keep me posted on how it works for you.  In a month I expect you to email me with your results  ***@****

Hi,

How would you describe these bumps on your arms?

Have they been present for some time?

Are these bumps itchy?

Are they similar to the ones present in  your thighs?

One differential here is keratosis pilaris. This condition is associated with bumps over the arms or thighs that may give you a rough feel if you try to run your palms over the involved areas.Keratosis pilaris is chronic and usually recurs. There is no definite treatment for this. Scrubbing and bath soaks may be able to help.An underlying infection of the hair follicles may require the use of antibiotics.

Discuss this with your dermatologist.

With regards to your face, are you using sunscreen?
