i thought i had a bite

it started with a circle raised above the skin i thought it was a bug bite now it a huge red blotch on my stomach.It is raised and itches very badly it's not all connected  each part that's raised is either a straight line or a bug bite looking shape. does anyone know what this is????

Hello,
It can be due to ringworm or tinea corporis. If it has centre clearing then any insect bite or tick bite needs to be ruled out. Treatment consists of topical antifungal cream which may contain miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole.
