idiopathic hives...HELp!

Back in March of this year I slowly started developing hives all over my body. I tried to control it for a month with Benadryl and after a trip to a local FastMed a prescription for Prednisone, which seemed to work. And then the RETURNED but stronger!! After being told "we don't know" from three allergiests, I tried my luck with a dermatologist who only gave me a topical cream, also didn't work. After gaining weight and slipping into a slight depression due to not being able to enjoy life I am now trying my luck with an integrated medicine doctor. He seems really excited to atleast TRY and help me. I am currently taking Singular, Zyrtec, Hydroxyzine,(been on those for 3+ months) and now started Butterbur, Slippery Elm, a probiotic and Royal Jelly (for a week so far( and have ZERO relief! Let week I went to go get a couple of tests so I'm excited to keep ruling things out!

In addition I am trying some things I read on the web, for example: Apple coder vinegar (did NOT work, made it worse!!) essential oils Lavender & Lemon. Any suggestions? Its been 4 months of non-stop itching!!

Has anyone tried to find the cause of the hives?  It's good to treat the hives, obviously- but if they can't locate the cause, treating the symptom won't help much.  If it's an allergy cause, then that needs to be pinpointed- but other things can cause this including thyroid issues, hormone issues- and more.  Keep pushing for answers!

Hey! I've been taken multiple blood test to rule Out thyroid, or other organ issues. Multiple allergists have given up telling me my body will eventually even itself out. The new doctor I'm seeing thinks it's a gastronomic issue (so I'm on a juice cleanse now) or a virus
