increasing red itchy spots after swimming in loch and camping help ??

I went camping with a few friends at a loch and when i came back i was really itchy and couldnt get to sleep with the pain. It has now been four days and more spots keep apearing everyday.

It is getting really unbearable and i cant sleep. They are from my feet to my neck and i am terrified in case they go on to my face.

There were a load of us camping and another two girls have these spots but no where as bad as mine. They have been to the doctor and been given cream and antibiotics. But do i need to go ?? Because whenever i am in a docors they make me feel stupid and as if why am i there i can only go as a last resort. But HELP !! :)

Since two other people are having the sma symptoms, I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist immediately. It looks like some insect or arthropod bite and hence early treatment is necessary. Till that time, take some antihistaminics like Benadryl and apply the steroid cream. You can also apply calamine lotion as it helps in soothing the skin.
