irritated bottom eyelid

I've had this for some years now. The skin in my lower eyelid mostly, the eyelashes queue and a bit down gets dry irritated, flaky and itches. This happens everyday, I'm male and i don't wear make up. I think it gets worse when the eyes are a bit dry (during the night). Dexamethasone neomycin eye drops help but only temporarily (the have both an antibiotic and a steroid). Is there a way to make it go away since i can't use those eye drops for long periods of time.

From the symptoms the possibility of blepharitis needs to be ruled out. Blepharitis is an ocular disease characterized by chronic inflammation of the eyelid margins. I suggest you to consult a dermatologis/ eye speacilaist and get it evaluated.
