is this a pimple or what?

My little girl has developed a pimple like bump on her nose.  When it first appeared, I took it for a pimple and told her not to do anything, thinking it would go away.  One thing I was confused off is how early she can get pimples or if it's even a pimple at all.  She's only 10 when it appeared.  2 months later, it's still there and got bigger.  I looks like a pimple but is hard to the touch, as if something hard is inside.  Skin is smooth on top and around the bump.  I have had pimples before and never did any lasted this long.  Can it really be a pimple or something else?  it doesn't look like it's going to pop anytime soon.
