Hi,

No I do not think this is herpes. Herpes should manifest with a cluster of bumps containing clear fluid on a reddish base. The vesicles may erupt and eventually the reddish base may crust. Herpes does entail with some burning and tingling sensation.
At this point, I do not think this is herpes .

Continue to observe your skin condition. If this skin irritation, moisturizing the area and avoiding frequent contact of the affected area with your clothes should help improve the condition in a week or two.

Hi,

Friction and dryness may cause the pain and the burning sensation that you experience. Dryness may result from the friction and the frequent manipulation in the area which may cause mild abrasions and injury on the skin.

Refrain from any sexual activity until the condition has resolved completely .Do not apply anything on the area. A light vitamin E cream may help to keep the area moisturized and prevent dryness caused by the friction.

Hi.

This sounds like a skin irritation. The skin of the genitals is extremely sensitive and fragile and manipulation may actually lead to mild injuries or abrasions in the area.

Avoid any sexual activity for the moment and also avoid using any creams and lotions at this point as this will only worsen the condition. I suggest that you observe the condition and refrain from unnecessarily touching the area.

Use a mild and less abrasive cleanser in washing the area. You need not wash frequently as this will only cause dryness and may worsen the condition.

Avoid any sexual activity at this point. Wait for the skin condition to resolve.

Is there any discharge or pain ?

Any scaling present ?
