itching on penile shaft

i have had jock itch on my inner thighs for a while now and have been taking lotrimin for it to keep it from itching, it has been helping but isnt completely cure yet. but about a week ago i got a little i guess itching/rash on the right side of my penile shaft. i dont know if the rash came from rubbing or something on the side of my leg while sleeping or something.im not sexually active so im pretty sure it isnt an std or anything relating to an std. it doesnt itch all the time just every now and then, i havent put any cream or anything on it because it rarely gets irritated. does any one know or have any ideas what it could be? or anything that could help make it go away? or is it just a rash that will be there for a while then go away on its own?

Sometimes a seborrheic dermatitis is mistaken as fungus.If you do not respond to clotrimazole you may need a external application of a mild steroid creme.
