itchy bites what is it

i have a really itchy scalp.
always crawlies in my hair.
everyone in my house is itching
so its contagious.
this problem has gone on for a year now.

IT IS NOT: scabies, headlice, birdmites or ringworm...
it has also been confirmed that its not psychological so no trolls thanks.

what could it be? is it possible that you could have a tinea
type infection that is virtually asymptomatic?

there is bites, maybe 5 or 10 at the most like flea bites.
going bald.. feeling like invisible bugs attacking me 24/7.
something is, but what is it????

sulphur soaps and anti fungals seem to spread the problem,
this stuff then makes my nose itch and all sorts of things.

While I do not profess to give a clue to your itchy scalp, as to whether it is contagious through any parasite in your family is the question. Recent research has shown that the itch sensation can get transmitted, just by seeing a person itch! In what is being called itch transmission, the researchers have shown that the sensation of an itch can be caught visually in the same way as yawning. As for Tinea, with out a clincal presentation it is most unlikely.

If headlice and scabies have been ruled out then it can be due to contagious diseases like tinea capitis also. The symptoms of Ringworm or Tinea Capitis include a dry itchy scalp, scaling, crusting, inflamed nodules, hair loss and tender enlarged lymph nodes on the neck.  Because of the scratching that is involved with the condition it can become secondarily infected with a bacterial infection.

Get a KOH examination and a biopsy of the skin scrapings done to rule out any fungal infection.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. Yes, It might be a parasite, a new one, not a ringworm.  Its a parasite in different stages...

DIET!!! is a most.  I feel a little better after becoming vegetarian.  I just eat fish as meat.
no fast food, sodas, bread, meat or chicken.  It hasnt stop the problem, but has relief me just a little.

hey did you have any luck with the treatments?
im still stuck trying to find answers. waiting months for appointments. being told they cant help.

although i definitely do not have any fibers, i still wouldn't be surprised if its a component in the make up of morgellons.

as mentioned i have tryed over 150 things, with strict routines and know that what i've tried either has no effect, or just aggravates it.

how many people have been prescribed anti-biotics for this ??

just wondering. i am actually in 2 minds weather i should look at asking a doc about them, as they can be damaging to my immune system witch im sure is under enough strain as it is.  i will have to PM you re that message ages ago, to answer everything and cover details i will need to write a 10,000 word essay or something stupid like that. but either way i havent forgotten. i know what its like trying to find info.
