Hello,
It looks like allergic reaction to the metals of the jewellery. Nickel is one of the commonest metals to cause an allergic reaction. Diagnosis is done by skin patch test or blood tests for allergy. MELISA (Memory Lymphocyte Immunostimulation Assay) test is a blood test that is confirmatory for metal allergy.
I feel that you should consult your doctor and talk about this allergy.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
These symptoms are suggestive of hives. The most likely triggers for acute urticaria(hives) are allergies to pets, horses, latex and foods, such as shellfish and nuts, bee or wasp stings, allergies to medicines, viral infections, dental and sinus infections, fungal infections, blood transfusions and vaccines.
Take some oral antihistaminics like Benadryl (cause drowsiness) or Claritin and apply calamine lotion as it helps in soothing the skin. You can also apply a mild steroid cream and if the symptoms persist then consult a dermatologist as oral steroids may be needed.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
