"itchy" lump on my 2-year-old's arm...

by Jackster12, Mar 22, 2009 06:21PM
Greetings... I hope you can help us figure this one out. Our 2.5 year-old often scratches and has complained about a subcutaneous lump she has on her left arm. It's not apparent above the skin, but you can feel it there if you press down. It feels like a sebaceous cyst. She also has one that she scratches on her left thigh. In both cases, we're wondering if this has something to do with vaccinations she's received (many months ago).

Any advice? She has a checkup with her pediatrician next month and is also scheduled to get some booster shots. But we wonder if this is something she should have looked at sooner.
