itchy rash

On Sunday evening, immediately after showering, I used bengay on my neck. Several hours later, I awoke with a horrible red, and itchy rash on the back of my neck.. Yesterday, it appeared on my inner biceps (I may have used bengay there as well), I am currently taking benadryl and using a benadryl spray... I still itch. Also, I have been taking Norco for approximately one month, but the rash didn't appear until Sunday. Its driving me crazy. I don't want to see my dermotolgist because I know he will put me on prednisone (sp). Does this sound like an allergic reaction
