itchy skin

i'm Male.  45.

A few weeks ago I switched laundry chemicals and had a full neck-to-ankles body reaction.  I re-washed all of my clothes and sheets but the itching has not completely subsided.

I now have random itching sensations.  When I scratch any one spot can get worse.  Creams and lotions seem to help.

BTW, I did have a case of ringworm that had been going away with the use of tinactin a few weeks before the laundry incident.  It was mostly gone and I was winding down the use of tinactin at that time.

Any insight would be appreciated.

just to clarify, I re-washed the clothes with my old laundry detergent not the new stuff.

And I mentioned the fungus because I was wondering if it's possible that during the reaction from the new detergent I spread the fungus all over my body with excessive scratching.
