keloid risk?

Okay, well about six years ago, I got my ears pierced for the second time. About a month or two after the second piercing, bumps called keloids appeared on both piercings. And I went to the dermatologist and got them like... reduced, I guess? And I started gauging them. Now at a double zero, I dont feel them anymore. And about three years after the keloids first showed up, i cut my head open (by accident, of course :D), but no keloid appeared. I want to know how big the risk of getting a keloid is, if I got a monroe piercing (a piercing above the lip). I hope this makes sense :D
