kenalog

how long does it take for skin atrophy from a kenalog shot to go away completely?  it was given for a small pimple. its filled in quite a bit in the past 8 months but was wondering if it will continue to heal all the way.

So I got a kenalog shot back on October of 2007 and shortly after I started to see this depression in my skin (I got one shot in each of my upper arms) and now that it is May of 2008 they are still here. i have read about a lot of people who have had this similar reaction but no one knows what to do about it. I have heard that it is caused by the medication crystalizing and if you have saline injected into the site then after a while this should help dilute the medication and let the tissue grow back. BUT I hear that this doesnt always help but i think it is a good first start. What can saline hurt? umm... nothing that I can think of. so I think I'm going to try it.
