knowledge of obagi nu-derm treatment?

by jumper, Nov 15, 2000 12:00AM
I have been under treatment for rosacea for over two years.I take tetracycline and use metrocream.  Not getting worse but is there anyway I will ever be able to improve the appearance of my skin?- Considering obagi nu-derm treatment=does anyone have experience with this treatment?  Thanks

Jumper:

It's not clear what you mean by "the appearance of my skin."  Perhpas some of the changes you see are not rosacea but sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and so forth.  The Obagi Nu-Derm system is a program based on Retin-A which helps such changes.  There are other programs, procedures, and chemical peels which can help.  I suggest you ask the doctor who recommended rosacea treatment, or else consult a dermatologist who has an esthetician in his or her office for a joint consultation.

Best.
