I also have KP and so far I have tried just about everything ever made to cure it. I've had it since I was tiny and it drives me nuts. I'm one of those people that refuses to wear short sleeves because of it.
Anyway, there are a couple things I have found that help...but does not cure. KP Duty Lotions helped quite a bit. However, it doesn't work right away and it's expensive considering the bottle is small and you have to use it twice a day for the rest of your life. I also found exfoliating once a week help.
i feel your pain, i have the same problem. ive done a lot of research, and ive tried many diffrent things. my kp has not cleared up to my satisfaction, but it has lessened. the best routine
ive found is; use a moisturizing mild exfoliating body wash in the morning (i use dove) i also use exfoliating bath mits. then i use the new eucerine with with aha, its the plus body lotion with vitamins. it also has urea in it, which helps with the kp.
at night i use the cvs exfoliating acne body wash, salicylic
acid is suposed to help kp, then after that i use the dove calming night body wash with vitamin a. i use an exfoliating cloth with these also. everything is a mild exfoliant. in order to get the lotion and aha to penetrate you skin best you need to exfoliate. i use either the eucerin lotion again or vaselin has a lotion with aha in it also.
eucerin makes a body plus creme that is supposed to help kp. it says it on the bottle. the only problem is it is very small and if you have kp on more that just your arms and thighs it only last for 2 uses. it cost $8 so it can be expensive.
if you can, in the middle of the day use a lotion with vitamin A.
