laayer of skin came off my nose

i had a big pimple on my nose and my derm was closed for new years so i picked at it.after i went and took a shower and where i picked the shower took a layer of skin right off my nose.now i have this big red spot on my nose and im really upset about it.im guessing my skin is sensitive since i use retin a micro 0.1%.do you think the skin will grow back on my nose?its been about 5 days and it still doesnt look good.is there anything i can put on it without taking the skin off again that will make the skin grow faster?thanks

First of all pls don’t apply retin A as it may be irritating the skin. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion or Neosporin cream on the spot as it will help in soothing the skin.
Other than that ,no treatment is required.Let the skin heal in a few days with minimal application of any creams.
