lare pores on nose, please help PT2

I also have large pores on my nose with these weird white clogs poking out of them. I wash my face at least 2 to 3 times a day and occasionally squeeze out these strange, waxy, cloggy, poking-out-of-my nose white-like substance.
As questioned in a previous thread: how do i go about treating them? Should i just continue my routine washing my face?
Is it safe to squeeze them out? Would it enlarge my nose pores if i were to do so? Will they ever go away? Would you reccomend any products to remove these sebum/oil filled pores?
First blackheads, now this? This is truly a depressing matter.

Please help!

sorry to hear your 5% bperoxide isn't working.  Only the 4% works for me - strange.

Roaccutane (retin A) is the strongest acne treatment.  It'll probably remove all your acne problems and make your pores smaller for a while but then they it all may return after a couple of years. That's what happened for me.  Good luck!

Hi,

Most of our skin conditions especially skin type and predisposition to acne may be inherited.

When taking a bath, you may try opening the hot water tap and allow it to steam. This will help open the pores. Do be careful in doing this and do not directly expose your face to the hot water .Just allow the bath to steam. After a few minutes, you may try exfoliating. An exfoliant with natural ingredients and gentle beads may help. An exfoliating towel may also help. Do not rub vigorously but only do so as gently as you can. Use a toner and moisturizer afterwards. You may do this a few times a week. Do not forcibly extract comedones as this may cause some scarring and lead to infections. Wash your face only with a mild and bland cleanser. Use sunblock with at least an SPF 15 everyday.

Pore minimizers are currently available in the market but there is really no definite  guarantee of a permanent or long lasting result. You may look into laser therapy.

I think it is impossible to completely close pores, but prescription "Retin A" really shrinks them down and helps with the blockage.

Hi, I have the same thing on my nose and cheeks.  It is very annoying and embarrassing, esp. at my age, to have this.  I use the over the counter acne stuff and the STridex pads.  I also don't use too many different lotions on my face.  I only use Cetaphil soap and moisturizer.  It helps a little, but I keep getting these bumps with the white stuff.  As soon as I get rid of one, I get more.

Hmm i got a bottle of benzoyl peroxide (5%) i have been using. It doesn't really seem to work :x. My skin peels abit when i use it, so i use it every other day.

And i know this gets asked alot but: is there a way to close pores?
The pores on my nose are ridiculously huge thus resulting in the weird white squeezable sebum in my nose..

Brevoxyl (4% benzoyl peroxide) has helped my acne, and seems to soften the sebum material.  Takes a little time for your skin to tolerate it.
