lesion on nose

I have a history of basal cell ca on my forehead. Now I have a ring shaped raised white lesion on my nose that is quite hard. It seems to get a little better but then it gets worse again. It does not hurt. I am waiting to see a dermatologist but there is a 6 month waiting list. any ideas, suggestions?

Since you have a history of basal cell carcinoma, hence this lesion on the nose should be evaluated. I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be fibrous papule of the nose, trichoepithioloma or actinic keratosis also. So these possibilities need to be evaluated for which I suggest you to consult a dermatologist.
