lican planus

I have been diagnosed with this skin disorder lican planus I have used elocon cream in the past and I was just waundering if there is any thing I can use over the counter that will work the same . I have no insurance and I know you need a perscription for elocon0.1% cream .Is there any more information on this skin disorder new medications etc.I was diagnosed in the 1990's It seemed to go way but I have it again on my leg . thank you for your response Agrafrusty09
