light brown waxy spot

light brown waxy spot

I have a small round, light brown waxy spot on my arm.  I recently had a full body check and had 2 skin biopsy. One was a wart and the other was a benign solar lentigo.  Now I am concerned about the small, light brown waxy spot on my arm.  Should I go back to the dermatologist?  I am hoping if he was concerned about it he would of biopsied it.  What could this spot be?

Hi

This may be a mole or a wart. At this point, this appears to be hyperpigmented but from the sound of it ,it does not seem to be infectious in origin. You have had history of moles and solar lentigo, this may be similar to the previous cases. Follow this up with your physician so that proper assessment may be done. You may bring your biopsy results with you and take a picture of the spot for future reference. Do not apply anything on the area. Do not scratch or pick on the area.
