light pinkish patch of skin on penis

About 5 months ago I noticed a small patch of light pink skin on the shaft of my penis.  It's a lighter pink than the rest of my penis and am wondering what it could be.  I'm not sexually active so it couldnt be an STD.  Too embarrassed to see the doctor so I posted it on here.  Please help.

Thank you very much for replying, I really appreciate it.  It seems to be the actual pigment of the patch of skin that is a lighter pink than the rest of the penile skin.  I also noticed a tiny little raised lump (around the size of if you were to press the tip of a sharp pencil on a piece of paper) in the exacty area where the patch of discolored skin is.  It's very strange that this is on that exact area.

I also have anal itching on the left side, and the itchy skin kind of feels a little lumpy.  Not big lumps but very miniature.  Probably too small to be hemmorhoids.  Although I have had interal hemmorhoids in the past, but this itchy patch is external.  Should I see my doctor regarding all of this? Or is this enough info for you to be able to diagnose? So far on the penile patch of discolored skin I have tried aloe vera and a lotion called cortef, which is hydrocortisone cream 0.5% but it didn't seem to help.  Also, is it normal for the male penis to be cold a lot of the time? I seem to have poor blood flow to this area and very low libido.

I hope to hear from you soon regarding these matters.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub with clothes, dermatitis (atopic, contact, allergic),excessive sweating causing sweat dermatitis or balanitis(due to an underlying infection (bacterial and fungal as well as other organisms) .

You may try calamine lotion on the rash. You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. You can also use a barrier cream with zinc oxide paste or calamine lotion or a mild steroid cream like dermacort on the rash.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. Treatment can be started only when the diagnosis is confirmed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
