lingering facial rash problem

for quite a while now i have been experiencing a mildly itchy rash on predominantly my upper cheek and tip of my nose and forehead (sometimes on chin and under eyebrows). it is a dry rash sometimes with a hint of flaking. if i remember correctly i had the first signs of this over a couple of years ago, but it always seemed to come and go and wasn't too bad. over the last half year the symptoms increased to a point that is discomforting, now covering somewhat larger areas than when it all began (i remember it beginning on the cheeks just under the eye and next to the nose, in a fairly small area). the symptoms still vary in strength from day to day, but i have a hard time associating it with any particular habit or exposure to food / environment / etc.  I have applied anti-fungal creams and anti dandruff solutions without success. your advice is very much appreciated--please help!
