lip blisters





hi...
i am getting blisters on my lips for the last 2 months....it comes exactly  3-4 days before my periods.....is this correlated..? initially i thought it was Allergic reactions to a lip gloss....but last month i didn't use any lip product and i still got it....
its not painful...just tiny blisters that start on upper centre of lip and eventually move to the lower...subsides in 5-6 days...
its very hot is the city i currently live in...is it the heat??

Help...im worried..what should i do?

thnks bhupinder.... guess it hormonal as i ve lately been detected with PCO....

Hello,
This can be due to hormonal changes in the body or stress induced blisters. You can use topical ointments like numbing ointments, such as benzocaine (Oragel), anti-inflammatory (steroid) gels,benadryl allergy liquid mouthwash,oral preparations of steroids and vitamin supplements.

But if the sores last for more than 3 wks or start spreading then please consult a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
