A blood blister is a type of blister that forms when tissues and blood vessels are damaged without piercing the skin. It consists of a pool of lymph, blood and other bodily fluids trapped beneath the skin. This may have resulted from biting or trauma to the lip. This will usually resolve on its own. However, leave the blister alone. A cold pack may also help.If it persists, it would be best to have it evaluated by your doctor.
Take care and regards.
