Hi

This may be a fungal infection or a beginning of HSV type 1 infection. I would not suggest any topical medications except for a light moisturizing lip balm at this point. Observe the affected skin. If the bumps persist and appear as vesicles (bumps contain clear fluid) , then have this assessed by a dermatologist. An HSV type infection may require an oral antiviral medication to help hasten its resolution and to decrease the extent of disease severity.

Avoid spicy food and hot beverages. Refrain from touching the areas unnecessarily as at this point, this may be something contagious.
