lips

ive suddenly developed pimples on the top of my upper lip. i dont know what they are..they have puss in them and once i popp one another one comes up. I have no idea if this is normal. What can i do to stop getting these "pimples" on the top part of my upper lip, just below my nose?

These small bumps can be due to folliculitis. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.Pls consult a dermatologist in that case.
