liquid nitrogen burn

Hello, i was removing a wart by freezing it. but it was in an awkward place for me to reach and abit of my skin was frozen for a few seconds. the wart came off but the normal skin that was frozen is a deep red colour. it stung the first day now it feels fine. how long till it goes back to normal?

It can be irritant contact dermatitis or superficial burns but it does not look like third degree burns. Most superficial burns heal within about two weeks and don't usually leave a scar. For these kind of burns; you can apply antibiotic cream such as silver sulfadiazine (Silvadene).It will prevent infection and help in fast healing. Also wear cotton clothes and do not scratch the area.
