little red spots on my chest and arms

little red spots on my chest and arms

I have a bunch of little red spots on my arms and chest, they do not itch. I cannot feel them at all. They start out light red get a very light scab and then turn bright red and eventually fade away. there is no discernable pattern or simillarity of size or shape. I simply would like to know what it is and how to get rid of it.

Hi

Red spots that scab may be a dermatitis , eczema or a fungal infection. Skin scrapings from the area may be microscopically evaluated. This will help you ascertain whether this is infectious in origin. The microscopic evaluation will serve as an objective form of assessment. Other differentials for red spots may be angiomas and bleeding problems. At this point, I would not think this is a case of  angioma. You may have your complete blood count with platelet count done also. Decrease in platelet count may lead to pinpoint bleed that manifests as a rash.
