looking for some info

Hello Doc
Here is my situation about 1 month ago developed a liitle bump on my penis shaft, no pain  no itching just a bump,  it seemed as if it was a whitehead waiting to form, so finnaly after 1 month or so I applied some
acne creme to it and the next morning it was a full blown whitehead, just like something a person would get on their face. So i let it be for a day or so the whitehead as it was finnaly while in the shower I poped it some white stuff came out and a little blood, now it just looks like a red scar, same as the type i get on my face if i pop a zit.
Just wondering if this,
  sounds exactly like i think just a zit or is it something you would suggest i see my doctor for. I dont think it is an std
because
the only type of sexuall activity i  ave been involved in for months would be just some hand to genital contact. As for warts i have read that u cant pop them and I assume if it was somrthing else it would be extremmely painful. Is this something I should be stressing out about or does it sound just like a zit.

This sounds like an ordinary cyst--common on the penis and scrotum and of no significance.  Popping these makes them look red.  Best to leave them alone.  Show whatever is left (if anything) to a doctor next time you see one.
